Welcome! I'm Bartek Scheibe, also known as Chef B, a personal chef with a passion for creating memorable food experiences. I love all aspects of food - from growing amazing produce, cooking in season, to the amazing stories that stem from it. Having grown up in a Polish household where food is often the centerpiece of every celebration, my family rarely ate out. We prefer to enjoy some home cooked meals and experiment in the kitchen. My journey in becoming a better chef started in high school where I took some elective baking and cooking classes. In college, once I was living in a rental house with 6 friends, I finally had a kitchen to get creative, experiment, and learn about food. I would cook for my friends, sports tailgates, and birthday parties. I also earned a business degree from Western Michigan University. Thanks to my professors and classmates I started learn and continue to develop my communication, operation, and management skills. I was learning how to run my own business and part-time working in my family’s residential remodel business. I was a cook on campus, then at an Italian restaurant, and in an Alaskan lodge called “The Lodge at Black Rapids”. Big thanks to Chef Nita & Chef Casey. Some of the best experiences of my life.
